What kind of support does the FMASBC provide to the FM athletic program?

The FM All Sports Booster Club is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that supports FM’s athletic teams.  From an administrative perspective, the club provides banking, accounting services, tax-exempt status, insurance and advertising services (via PeachJar.)  The FMASBC hosts the annual Silent Auction, and also the annual Spring Varsity Awards Night.  The FMASBC runs the stadium snack shack, as well as the concession stand adjacent to the House 1 gymnasium.  The club also awards two college scholarships to graduating seniors annually.

The FMASBC provides funds to supplement the travel costs of teams, especially for those qualifying for post-season competitions at the state and national level.  The club has spent countless dollars on equipment enhancements to the overall athletic program.  Some examples are the scoreboards at the football stadium, the Swan Pond soccer venue, and both the baseball and softball complexes; refurbishing a crew shell; sound systems for the swim teams and Swan Pond; lacrosse/soccer netting; tennis court wind breaks; indoor pitching mounds; enhancement to the stadium rest rooms; a Pixellot camera for streaming games at NFHS Network.  Recently, the FMASBC committed ~$40,000 toward new modified-level uniforms across all sports.

Who can be a part of FMASBC?

Anyone. We have an executive board made up of a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and snack shack coordinator. There is also a parent representative for each sport as well as members at large. Meetings are open to anyone and to vote a person must pay $1 per year for membership voting rights.
